For over a decade, our team has been deeply embedded in international student recruitment — working with over 1000 universities worldwide. We've seen the industry from every angle: the overwhelming volume of student enquiries, the manual processes that haven't changed in 20 years, and the opportunities lost simply because teams couldn't respond fast enough.
Our founder Prachet Agrawal saw an opportunity to bring technology into the industry. He built CourseFinder.ai, which grew into a leading B2B platform. But even with better technology, the core problem remained: institutions and consultants were drowning in repetitive work while qualified students slipped through the cracks.
Aro AI was born from this frustration. We asked: what if every institution had access to an AI counsellor that truly understood higher education — one that could engage students on web, WhatsApp, and voice, qualify leads automatically, and give overwhelmed teams their time back? Not a generic chatbot bolted onto a website, but an AI purpose-built for admissions, enrolment, and student recruitment.
